How to avoid sore feet at the races

Australia’s leading podiatrist has issued several tips to racegoers to help reduce the pain and discomfort women feel when they wear their heels to Flemington.
“It will probably be the most taxing day for your feet,” Gideon Poratt told Ross and John.
Some of his tips…
- Don’t wear a heel more than 1 or 2 inches.
- Try and wear a shoe with a wide heel and wide toe.
- Regular sitting breaks
- Massaging your feet with peppermint oil when you get home.
