School parents are being told to prepare for yet another difficult year at school due to COVID-19.

Carol Markie-Dadds, Triple P International Country Director (Positive Parenting Program), said the uncertainty of what lay ahead was undoubtedly going to test many kids.

“This year is really going to try everybody, I think, in terms of that unpredictability,” she said on 3AW Drive.

But she offered some advice to parents about how to deal with staggered start times, masks in the classroom, testing before going to school and how to manage fears about going back to remote learning.
