How to improve the Twelve Apostles experience
A Queensland tourist has suggested the Twelve Apostles experience would be improved with ‘better souvenir stands and photographers on hand’.
And the Victorian Tourism Industry Council doesn’t mind the idea.
Diane Smith from the VTIC told Tom Elliott it’s a pity that people don’t stay in the area for more than half an hour on average.
‘There’s lots of things we can do to encourage them to spend more time down there,’ Ms Smith said.
But Tom doesn’t think the area needs interactive displays and digitally-altered images.
‘That part of the world is, to me, best left natural,’ he said.
