How to perfect your own handshake

Today Tom Elliott got a lesson on how to perfect his own handshake.

Anna Musson, etiquette expert explained that the perfect handshake was more than just a good grip –  one must perfect their greeting and body language also.

‘It is really important to get the pressure right,’ Ms Musson told Tom. ‘Equally important is eye contact, facing the person straight on, not having your hand in your pockets.’

Surprisingly, Anna said one of the worst things we can do when meeting someone new is asking ‘how are you?’
