How Victoria ‘got it wrong’ with QR codes

The CEO of the Australian Information Industry Association says Victoria wasted valuable time last year when it should have been developing an effective QR code system, with rigid rules.

Ron Gauci told Tom Elliott the state’s system still didn’t appear to be as effectively run as others.

“It certainly took a lot longer than it needed to,” he said.
