HR expert weighs in on Victoria Police overpayment error

An HR expert has questioned the discretion of the Victoria Police following its handling of an overpayment error.

Victoria Police has confirmed members were overpaid. They are now asking officers to pay back varying amounts between 6c and over $200.

“For us to now be asking them to pay back small amounts of money … I’m asking where the discretion is,” HR expert Pam McDonald said on 3AW.
