‘Hugely significant’: What Iran’s attack on Israel could mean
Iran’s drone and ballistic attack on Israel over the weekend was a “hugely significant” moment in the ongoing war in the Middle East, according to Dr Kylie Moore-Gilbert.
Dr Moore-Gilbert spent more than 800 days in an Iranian prison between 2018 and 2020 and has gone to write a book about her ordeal.
She told Tom Elliott that despite Israel and its allies intercepting almost all of the drones and missiles from the attack, it marked an escalation in tensions.

“It was a hugely significant (attack),” she told 3AW Mornings.
“In terms of the militant strategy behind it, it was choreographed and telegraphed in advance and everyone knew it was going to happen.”
