Human remains found near Dargo confirmed to be missing campers

The human remains found in bushland near Dargo late last year are those of Russell Hill and Carol Clay, forensic testing has confirmed.

Victoria Police released the news on Monday.

“Victoria Police can confirm that forensic testing on human remains located near Dargo in November 2021 has now been completed. The Coroner has advised Victoria Police that the remains are that of Russell Hill and Carol Clay. As the matter is before the court, we will not be providing any further comment.”

Gregory Lynn has been charged with their murder and remains in custody.

He is due to appear in court again on May 31.
