Human remains reportedly found at North Shore beach, Geelong

Police are investigating after a fisherman found what’s believed to be human remains at a Geelong beach.

The grim discovery, reportedly a human skull, was made at North Shore around 11.30am on Tuesday, while the tide was out.

A crime scene was quickly established and rescue officers made their way down the coast from Melbourne.

The search will resume at first light.
