Hundreds flock to Moonee Valley to watch Winx tune up for historic Cox Plate

Winx will take on seven rivals in Saturday’s Cox Plate.

She’ll jump from barrier 6.

The mighty mare was put through her paces for the final time this morning ahead of her historic bid for a fourth straight Cox Plate.

The champion racehorse worked at Moonee Valley, along with many other horses.

Hundreds flocked to the racecourse for the race club’s annual “Breakfast with the Best” function.

But all eyes were on one horse.
