Hundreds of jobs impacted as iconic tyre retailer shuts down

Iconic tyre retailer Beaurepaires is set to shut over 100 retail stores, with 700 jobs set to be affected.

The outlet has been operating in Australia since 1922, with the chain is part of the US-listed Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

“The bid to sell the business to rival Bob Jane fell through,” Deb Knight told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.
