Hundreds of motorists who believe they’ve been wrongly penalised by speed cameras on the Western Ring Road are being told not to ignore the penalty notices.

Road Safety Camera Commissioner John Voyage has told 3AW’s Neil Mitchell he is investigating a number of incidents where the speed limit was reduced temporarily and people were caught seemingly unaware but that doesn’t mean they’re off the hook.

‘I can’t make any promises, but I do have to investigate things properly before I can of assistance in the matter,’ Mr Voyage told Neil Mitchell.

If you believe you have wrongly received a fine you should email or call the Road Safety Camera Commissioner.
