Hunt for Dandenong hit-run driver

Police are searching for a driver who hit a pedestrian at Dandenong last night and fled.

The male pedestrian was hit by a stolen white Toyota Corolla on Foster Street, near Rudduck Street, just before 11.30pm.

The 41-year-old victim sustained minor head injuries, and the driver who hit him fled. The stolen Toyota was found abandoned in Pine Street, Frankston North, a short time later.

Police are calling for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
