Hunt for ticket scammer who has ripped off scores of people

A scammer has ripped off scores of people with a fake concert ticket.

Police say a 25-year-old Port Melbourne woman purchased two $180 tickets to a concert at St Kilda after seeing them on the festival’s social media page.

When she arrived, she was refused entry as the original ticket had already been used.

In fact it had been scammed 149 times that day.

Police believe a large number of other people may have also fallen victim to the scam – and are urging them to come forward.
