The hunt is on for a hit-run driver after a shocking incident at Docklands.

The victim, who was in a wheelchair, suffered serious injuries when he was hit by the RACV share car on Bourke Street.

The disturbing incident happened about 1.30 on Tuesday afternoon.

Judeland Antony told Neil Mitchell it was a miracle he’s still alive.

He suffered a broken pelvis, broken hand and broken back as a result of being hit.

The driver, who was travelling at speed, did not stop.

“I don’t know what was going through his mind,” Mr Antony told Neil Mitchell.

“Running away doesn’t solve the problem.

“I’m lucky I had so many people there wanting to help, holding my hand.

“I really need to thank them.”
