‘I feel like I’m hanging out with my dad’: Livinia Nixon’s touching tribute to John Blackman

Chief weather presenter for Nine News and former co-star on Hey Hey It’s Saturday, Livinia Nixon, has remembered John Blackman as someone she had a beautiful friendship with, after the news of his passing broke this morning.

“He was so kind, and he was very protective of me … I often said to him ‘I feel like I’m hanging out with my dad when I hang out with you’,” she told Tony Moclair.

“The fondest memories I’ve got are before and after the show, because then it was really unleashed,” she said.
