‘A little humiliating’: Michael Sheahan on the changeover of AFL leadership

Michael Sheahan says he’s unsure why outgoing AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan is dragging out the changeover of the “baton.”

“Andrew Dillon’s got a major influence in what happens with AFL and has had for 10 years, he told Sam McClure.

“I thought it was almost a little humiliating for Andrew Dillon, when it was known he was in for the job and Gillon was going and they took so long to tick him up.”
