‘I was like HOLY’: Marcus Windhager on record-breaking St Kilda win

St Kilda midfielder, Marcus Windhager, has opened up about the moment he realised his team had a chance to defeat Melbourne.

The Saints were 46 points behind at three-quarter time on Sunday, making their win the biggest fourth quarter comeback in AFL history.

“I was going along not sort of realising what was happening … It sort of just clicked and I was like HOLY,” he said on 3AW Wide World of Sports.

Windhager said that the “special night” was celebrated with the team, at a pre-planned club function.

The Midfielder told Jimmy Bartel about the clubs plans for the rest of the season and his for the future.
