‘I won’t go again’: Callers voice anger at ‘absolutely horrendous’ scenes at Federation Square
Callers have voiced their anger at the “thugs” lighting flares at Federation Square last night during the Matildas’ semi-final match against England.
Andrea and Peter were both there, with Andrea revealing her daughter had a bottle thrown at her, while Peter claimed kids were crying with 20 to 30 flares lit.
“We just couldn’t get out of there fast enough, I won’t go again,” Andrea told Neil Mitchell.

Plans to show the Matildas’ third-place playoff match at Federation Square could be cancelled as a result of the appalling behaviour.
