Australian cricket great Ian Chappell certainly goes the extra mile to make sure he answers his phone when duty calls.

Chappelli was talking all things cricket on 3AW when it became clear it probably wasn’t the best time for a chat.

‘Sorry mate, I’m doing a radio interview,’ he said to a voice in the background.
