Ian Chappell on ‘remarkable’ Alastair Cook stat

Ian Chappell admits he was shocked to learn all five of Alastair Cook’s Ashes hundreds have come in Australia.

The former England captain scored his first Test ton at the MCG.

He now has a century at each of Australia’s main venues.

Bizarrely, he’s never scored one against Australia at home.

“It’s quite remarkable, because most batsmen play a bit better at home,” Chappell said.
