The IBAC commissioner has promised to ensure Daniel Andrews follows through with his promise to implement all of the recommendations of the Operation Watts report.

The report illustrated a catalogue of unethical and inappropriate behaviour by the Australian Labor Party, spanning decades.

The Premier said it was “absolutely disgraceful” and promised to implement all 21 of the recommendations, including the establishment of a parliamentary ethics committee.

Speaking on 3AW, the Honourable Robert Redlich AM QC, Commissioner of the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission, said IBAC would continue to monitor the situation.

“It’s a fundamental part of our function to oversee and ensure the recommendations are properly and effectively implemented,” he said.
