Iconic CBD bar left shattered after most bookings are no-shows

The owner of a CBD institution says he’s shattered after 13 of the 20 bookings he took for Thursday night didn’t even bother showing up.

He’s had to implement a $25 holding fee as a result.

James Young runs Cherry Bar and said it was another kick in the teeth after a tough year.

“It’s absolutely heartbreaking,” he told Tom Elliott.
