A four-day work week could lead to more efficient and happier Australian workplaces, David Galbally QC says. 

The Ideas Factory this week tackled how to give Australians a better balance between work pressures and daily life.

‘What we need is we need to be efficient in our work, we need a very good lifestyle and lifestyle balance,’ he said.

‘A four day working week gives families and people a much better working week.

‘Their hours that they spend at work are far more concentrated because of that shorter period of time they concentrate on doing the tasks at hand.’
