“If you cheat, you can’t be a leader”: Tom Elliott hits out at David Warner

Tom Elliott has taken aim at cricketer David Warner, claiming Warner “wants to point the finger and blame others” following reports of Warner’s manager claiming Cricket Australia knew about the ball-tampering before the scandal occurred in 2018.

The Australian batsmen has also withdrawn his application to have his leadership ban overturned, with Tom Elliott stating he can’t be a leader again.

“If you cheat, you can’t be a leader,” the 3AW Drive host said.

“The idea that he still has leadership aspirations I think is utterly ridiculous.”
