IGA customer stabbed during frightening robbery

3AW Drive can reveal details of ANOTHER frightening attack on a supermarket at the weekend.

The IGA store at Bentleigh was hit by three armed thieves on Sunday night.

It’s the third incident involving a supermarket or milk bar in the space of two hours on Sunday evening.

“These guys just don’t seem to care,” store owner Dave told 3AW Drive.

Chris was shopping in the store at the time when he was confronted by the group, who took his wallet.

He chased them outside as they fled, before being hit with a piece of wood with metal protruding.

It left Chris with a deep wound.

“It just bled and bled and bled,” he explained.
