‘I’m happy being me’: Danielle Laidley’s powerful interview with Neil Mitchell

Former AFL player and now transgender female Danielle Laidley has spoken on her journey of coming out to her true identity in a powerful interview with Neil Mitchell.

Laidley spoke on the age she started to feel “different” as well as her battle with depression and anxiety.

She also addressed the turmoil and “havoc” which has gone threw her family, since they found out about her coming out as transgender on the front page of a newspaper.
