‘Increased tremendously’: EV sales through the roof

For the first time sales of electric vehicles have overtaken petrol driven cars in the medium-sized car category.

Paul Marrick, managing editor of carexpert.com.au, told 3AW Breakfast Tesla’s are the electric vehicle of choice for Australians.

“Tesla’s have increased tremendously,” he said.

“Over the past few years they’ve gone from only a couple of hundred sales a year, to well into the thousands and now we have over 20,000 on the road.”
