Independent report backs resident concerns about bayside bike lanes

An independent review has found bike lanes recently established in Melbourne’s inner-bayside suburbs are endangering cyclists and other road users.

It’s only further fuelled calls from some residents to remove them.

“The key concern has always been one of safety,” Cameron Smith, Spokesperson From the Residents of Port Phillip Community Group, told Dee Dee Dunleavy.
