Injury cloud hangs over Scott Pendlebury heading into Richmond clash

Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury will carry sore ribs into Friday night’s blockbuster against Richmond, says Sam ‘Scoop’ McClure.

The Sports Today newsbreaker said the Magpie superstar wasn’t in any danger of withdrawing before the game, but warned tipsters and supporters alike that Pendlebury wouldn’t be 100 per cent for the crucial clash.

‘I’m not sure if they’re cracked, but they’re certainly sore,’ McClure explained on 3AW.

‘He’s going to play (but) he’s keen for people to not know about it.

‘Sorry, Scott.’
