Inspiring Maya continuing her good work despite health problems

You may remember Maya Weightman, the girl whose 12th birthday wish was to help feed the homeless.

Less than a year later, she was struck down by scoliosis, spending seven weeks in hospital.

However, Maya has maintained a relentlessly positive attitude, and continues helping those less fortunate than herself.

Maya and her parent, Donna and Mark, joined Neil Mitchell in the 3AW studio on Australia Day.
