Integrity expert weighs in on federal government ‘grey corruption’ scandal
Questions have been raised over the integrity of Federal Transport Minister Catherine King accepting a lifetime ‘platinum’ status from Australia’s largest airline, Qantas.
Centre for Public Integrity director Geoffrey Watson SC told 3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott that the deal fitted into the industry concept of “grey corruption”.

“That is not the brown paper bag stuff, but the area where there is insidious influence and it’s in the nature of that,” he said.
