International vaccination passports will become available this week
A trip overseas is getting closer, with international vaccine passports to be available from tomorrow.
The certificate features a QR code to prove COVID-19 vaccination status that is internationally recognised.
They can be printed or uploaded to compatible COVID-19 travel apps.
The internationally-recognised vaccine passports will be available from midnight on Tuesday.
The system comes into place a day before quarantine-free travel from New Zealand’s South Island to Australia will resume.
Australia is also in discussions with Singapore about expediting a travel agreement.
