Interview between Tim Lane and Gillon McLachlan gets VERY awkward

Well, that was awkward. 

Tim Lane and Gillon McLachlan have had a nervous exchange over the AFL CEO’s dealings with the government during the ASADA investigation.

Tim quizzed McLachlan over his dealings with a bureaucrat from the office of Kate Lundy, the minister for sport who helped expose Essendon’s supplement regime.

What followed was incredibly tense and hesitant.

Tim: We all seek transparency, do we not?

Gillon: Yeah, and we’ve been transparent.

Tim: I’m not sure whether we were in this interview.
