Iran ambassador to Australia expelled over Iranian involvement in anti-semitic attacks

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has fronted the media, revealing Iran is behind at least two anti-semitic attacks on Australian soil.

Albanese has revealed the Iranian ambassador has been expelled and the Iranian embassy has been closed.

“It is likely Iran directed further attacks as well. These were extraordinary and dangerous acts of aggression orchestrated by a foreign nation on Australian soil,” he said.

Australian diplomats in Tehran have left the country and are in third countries.

They’ve also revealed plans to list Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organisation.
