Have you seen Monty Python cast member around Melbourne?

3AW’s Pat Panetta was doing a live cross to Grubby and Dee Dee over the weekend, when he spotted John Cleese walking down Chapel Street.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes, just strolling down Chapel Street,” Pat told Ross and John this morning.

“Both Michael Palin and Eric Idle are also in Melbourne at the moment, but we can’t see any mention of a Monty Python reunion spectacular anywhere!” Ross said.

Pat’s attempt to get Cleese to speak on-air didn’t go all that well, unfortunately.

“He said look, I’ve had three people come up to me already, please go away!” Pat said.
