‘It brings us all together’: Good Friday Appeal aims to top $17.5 million

It’s the day to dig deep for the kids, the annual Royal Children’s Hospital appeal, and organisers are out to beat the $17.5 million raised in 2017.

Thousands are also expected at the appeal headquarters at the Convention Centre from 10am, for the annual Kids Day Out, which this year features an ice skating rink.

Director of the Good Friday Appeal Anne Randall told 3AW Breakfast it’s a day which brings all Victorians together.

“It’s a great example of how the whole community, all sectors of the community come together to raise funds for our great hospital,” Anne said.

“It’s just terrific.”
