Melbourne lord mayor, Nick Reece, has slammed the “sick” series of posters, with over 50 popping up across the CBD recently.

The posters contain a photo of one of the alleged Bondi gunmen in Naveed Akram, with the word “Aussie” at the bottom.

“This has been clearly a deliberate and organised exercise to shock and spread hate, and we are not going to tolerate it at the City of Melbourne,” the lord mayor said on 3AW Drive.
