‘It is depressingly familiar’: Tom Elliott reacts to the latest IBAC report

Tom Elliott has reacted to the latest IBAC report, labelling it “depressingly familiar” after the anti-corruption watchdog found the Andrews government had awarded a Labor-affiliated union a $1.2 million contract to deliver training to health workers, an education program Elliott deemed “a load of rubbish”.

The 3AW Drive host also claimed it’s not the first time the Andrews government has engaged in corrupt activities.

“If that’s not corrupt, I don’t know what is,” he said.

Opposition leader John Pesutto then lashed out at Daniel Andrews over the IBAC findings.

“He embodies the problems, so how can he be the solution,” he told Tom Elliott.
