It just got a lot harder to win Oz Lotto.

The Minister for Consumer Affairs, Gaming and Liquor Regulation, Melissa Horne, has quietly signed off on an amendment of the Public Lottery Licence which will see the odds of winning the lottery almost double.

“I can only speculate that it won’t be a popular decision,” Dr Charles Livingstone, Gambling Researcher at Monash University, told 3AW Drive.
