‘It looks like a bomb blast’: Windows smashed at medical centre

A witness says a baby has been injured after a man smashed in the windows at a medical centre in Melbourne’s north.

Vimal told Denis Walter he was sitting in the waiting room of the Coburg Medical Centre on the corner of Sydney Road and Bell Street when a man smashed in the windows.

“One guy walking around, he hit the glass very hard,” he said.

“It looks like a bomb blast.”

“A very young family was sitting under the glass with a baby,” he said.

“The glass cut the baby’s face.”

Police have since attended the scene.
