‘It looks like a war zone’: Residents angry after more than 30 cars targeted by vandals overnight

Glen Waverley residents say their neighbourhood has been left looking like a battlefield after more than 30 cars were vandalised and windows smashed in.

Christoper Brown’s car was targeted and he told Tom Elliott the offender drove down his street on the wrong side of the road stopping at every car to cause damage about 4am.

“We’ve lived here for 18 years, we haven’t had much crime until the last six months,” he said.

Caller Brad, who lives in a nearby street, said it looked like a “battlefield and a war-zone”.

The cars were targeted on Shepherd Road, Madigan Drive and Penington Street.
