‘It will happen again’: Tech expert on Optus NBN outage

Optus claim to have fixed the “technical glitch” which caused widespread NBN outages across the country yesterday.
The outages began around 4pm yesterday and took until 11pm to resolve.
The telco admits every state except NSW and QLD was affected by the outage, but hasn’t been able to provide further detail on the issue.
“I doubt Optus will come out and say specifically what happened,” tech expert Charlie Brown told Neil Mitchell.
He also said though Optus claim to have fixed the issue, more outages will happen again.
“I can assure you it will,” he said.
