‘It’s absolutely everywhere’: Illegal rubbish dumping out of control in Victoria

The people of Victoria are facing a $30 million bill due to “out of control” illegal rubbish dumping being taken to the tip every single year.

The City of Melton spends over $3 million to deal with the enormous amount of illegally dumped rubbish, and mayor Steve Abboushi spoke on his and the community of Melton’s frustration.

“It is absolutely everywhere and it’s costing $3 million and growing,” Abboushi said on 3AW Afternoons.
