‘It’s an embarrassment’: Neil Mitchell calls on state government to commit to Airport Rail Link

Tom Elliott

Neil Mitchell has called on the state government to commit to building the Airport Rail Link in Melbourne.

It comes as the federal government prepare to foot $5 billion of the bill, leaving the Allan government to stump up the remainder.

“It’s an embarrassment we don’t have one,” he said.

Urban planner, Professor Roz Hansen, supports the Airport Rail Link in Melbourne, claiming she is “convinced there is a demand” for the project.

“Let’s just get on with it,” Ms Hansen told Neil Mitchell.
