It’s claimed the coronavirus pandemic has played a part in making us swear more.

Research from news and intelligence agency Storyful found the F-word, S-word, A-word and all their different variations rose 41 per cent on Facebook from 2019-2021 and 27 percent on Twitter.

But it turns out it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

“There is good scientific evidence that stress decreases when you swear,” he said.
