‘It’s just unbelievable’: Jeff Kennett responds to Ben Carroll’s strong criticism

Former Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett has responded to current Premier Ben Carroll’s criticism of him on social media.

Carroll stated that under the Kennett government, 12 hospitals closed, but under the current government, 12 opened.

“Sadly, he should never have taken this gig,” Kennett said on 3AW Drive.

“If he wants to blame me, I’m happy. If he says I closed 12 hospitals, name them.”

“It is sad, his way to the future is to go back over a quarter of a century.”
