‘It’s really a joke’: Jacqui Felgate’s blunt assessment of the West Gate Tunnel
Jacqui Felgate has delivered her assessment of the West Gate Tunnel, after driving through it earlier today.
And the 3AW Drive host described it like “your own private road”.
“I was shocked today, it’s really a joke,” Felgate said.

She was also sent footage today of trucks banked up trying to avoid the tolls in the tunnel.
And president of the community advocacy group ‘Save Willy Road’, Graeme Hammond, is hoping traffic will ease on the road and more people will use the tunnel in due time.
“It gives a financial incentive for those truck operators to turn off the freeway and bypass the toll,” Mr hammond said.
