Victoria’s debt has exploded from a few billion to nearly $200 billion in just ten years, with the state now paying over $1 million in interest every single hour.

Tom Elliott has strongly criticised Premier Jacinta Allan’s recent spending spree, including $1 billion for potholes and free public transport, labelling the government’s economic strategy as “tortured, circuitous logic”.
