Jacinta Allan performs ‘one of the biggest backflips’ Tom Elliott has seen
Tom Elliott has labelled Jacinta Allan fast-tracking a ban on selling machetes as “one of the biggest backflips” he’s seen.
Two teenagers were arrested after a machete-fuelled attack at Northland Shopping Centre on Sunday, which triggered Ms Allan to call a snap press conference on Monday to announce the ban on selling the dangerous weapons.
The 3AW Mornings host accused the premier of reactionary politics, questioning why the ban wasn’t implimented sooner.

“She’s done one of the biggest backflips I’ve seen,” he said on 3AW.
“She doesn’t get ahead of the game; we’ve known about this machete crime crisis for years now.”
